Our client is seekingVeritas NetBackup expert in Sheffiled,UK.This is a FTE role.
Mandatory Skills:
- Track Backup NetBackup Versions 9101 to 10301 Commvault Hyperscale X
- Veritas Cluster Server VCS
- Track Scripting Shell or Python or Puppet
- Upskilling Tracks
- Track Cloud Solutions Cloud Backup Solutions
Skills Required:
- AWS Infra Services, Azure Infra Services, RedHat Linux Administrator, Veritas NetBackup, Windows Server
- Performing the Installation configuration and upgradation on the MasterMedia Client Servers for NetBackup and recovery software
- Perform daily backup routine maintenance investigate and resolve issues on backup recovery operations
- Perform regular system maintenance incident solving change implementation
- Patch management Analyse solve performance and security issues
- Complex backup scheduling maintenance also includes helping solve complex problems related to operating system databases or applications teams
- Provide support during disaster recovery situations and plan failover fallback procedures
- Ensure data recoverability by performing regular restore tests
- Participating in an on call and shift rotation to support business customers
- Handling the escalation calls and joining the priority calls
- Work closely with vendors to resolve complex issues and implement best practices
- Generate and analyse backup and recovery reports presenting findings to management
