Job Specification:
* Location: Barnet
* Job Title: Business and Economics Teacher
* Contract: Permanent
* Full/Part Time: Full Time
* Rate: £140-£240 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)
* Hours: 8:00am – 3pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Business and Economics lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels.
- Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
- Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Business department and the wider school.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics in a secondary school setting.
- Passion for Business/Economics and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
YOU MUST:
- Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK.
- Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
- Provide two professional references.
