APEX EDUC8 is on the hunt for an excellent Business and Economics Teacher to support the department and teachers in an outstanding secondary school.

Job Specification:

* Location: Barnet

* Job Title: Business and Economics Teacher

* Contract: Permanent

* Full/Part Time: Full Time

* Rate: £140-£240 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)

* Hours: 8:00am – 3pm

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Business and Economics lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
  2. Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels.
  3. Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
  4. Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
  5. Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy.
  6. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Business department and the wider school.

The ideal candidate:

  1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics in a secondary school setting.
  3. Passion for Business/Economics and the ability to inspire students.
  4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  5. A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
  6. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

YOU MUST:

  1. Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK.
  2. Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
  3. Provide two professional references.
