The Springfield Group’s 2025 North Apprentice recruitment is now underway. Working on our new build homes across Moray and the Highlands you will have the opportunity to learn one of the following trades:
- Joinery
- Painting
- Bricklaying
- Taping
- General construction
As an Apprentice you will follow a traditional apprenticeship route combining college attendance with learning on site. You will achieve a qualification at SCQF level 5/6 at the end of your apprenticeship which will take between 2-4 years depending on the trade you choose.
The successful candidate will be:
- Ambitious and keen to learn their trade from the skilled team of professionals who will supervise and teach them throughout their apprenticeship journey.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to their apprenticeship by being reliable and having good time management.
- Able to work on their own initiative and take responsibility for their learning journey.
- A team player who demonstrates good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Open to change and new situations, approaching all tasks with a positive attitude.
- Be at least 16 years old to comply with our Health and Safety policy for working on the construction site.
- Working towards or have completed a relevant construction related course at SCQF level 5. For example, Built Environment, NPA in Carpentry and Joinery or Brickwork.
