Job Title: Exhibition Project Manager

Salary: £45,000-£50,000

Location: Rugby (3 days office per week)

Benefits: 25 days holiday (not including Bank holidays), Company pension scheme, Life Assurance policy, 2-3 days work from home policy, Positive working policy, flexible hours, weekly personal training sessions, Company Christmas Closure

About Our Client

Our client is a dynamic organisation specialising in creating and managing high-profile exhibitions and events. Their team is passionate about delivering memorable experiences that engage and inspire audiences. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced Exhibition Project Manager to join their team and lead the planning, coordination, and execution of their exhibitions.

Role Overview

As an Exhibition Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of exhibition planning, design, development, and implementation. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that each exhibition runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role requires a creative, organised, and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of event logistics and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple exhibition projects from concept through to execution, ensuring they meet client requirements and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, marketing, operations) and external vendors (contractors, suppliers, venues) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee the design, layout, and construction of exhibition spaces, ensuring they align with the project vision and brand.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and staying within budget.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other third parties.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations at all stages of the project.
  • Develop and manage post-exhibition reports to assess the success and identify areas for improvement.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Project Management, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience) – Not essential.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on exhibitions, trade shows, or large-scale events.
  • Strong understanding of exhibition design, logistics, and event operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally as needed for exhibitions or events.
