Senior Business Development Manager (Leading to Head of Sales)

Location: Hybrid

Full-time, permanent, 9am – 5pm

Salary: £50K Basic+30K Comm – Basic negotiable on experience

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (with sales management experience). You will have C-Level gravitas within the training industry.

We offer training solutions to leading brands and FTSE 100 companies.

Our portfolio is Instructor-led training (face to face & online) across:

  • Management & Leadership programmes
  • Professional Development
  • Microsoft Apps (Copilot/AI, Power BI, Excel)
  • Project Management, Sales & Financial Management

The role:

Once you are established with our systems, culture and services you will be cross selling our portfolio to key accounts.

We will expect you to progress to the Head of Sales position based on performance and alignment with STL's people and culture.

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years in business development, within consultative solution sales.
  • Proven sales team management.
  • Recent track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively.
  • High Proficiency in sales related technology including AI, CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the training industry advantageous.
  • Active interest in the latest sales techniques and strategies.
