Job Description

New Year, New Role – Time to Make Your Mark as a Demand Planner!

Are you ready to take on a fresh and exciting challenge? Here’s your chance to step into a newly created role as a Demand Planner and make it truly your own!

Join our client’s Demand Planning Manager with all things demand-related, as they strategically plan for a fantastic year ahead. This is your opportunity to dive into demand planning analysis and be a key player in shaping the future of the business.

What You’ll Be Up To:

  1. Reviewing and analyzing sales forecasts, breaking them down by customer and product – and making recommendations to flag any risks or opportunities.
  2. Cleaning up historical data to help improve those all-important statistical forecasts!
  3. Keeping track of phase-ins/phase-outs and ensuring the local forecasting system is updated and spot-on.
  4. Updating forecasts in the system and making sure everything is aligned.
  5. Supporting the Demand Planning Manager in monthly demand reviews with our awesome sales team.
  6. Reviewing those tricky overselling and underselling SKUs – and ensuring the numbers match up.
  7. Keeping everyone in the loop with regular reports and updates on forecast accuracy versus business targets.
  8. Tackling any other ad-hoc tasks that come your way (we like to keep things interesting!).

What You’ll Need to Shine:

  1. At least one year of Demand Planning experience (you’ve got this!).
  2. Experience in the consumer goods sector? Even better!
  3. A whiz with data analysis and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong Excel skills (think V Lookups, Pivot Tables, If Statements, and Sumifs).
  5. Bonus points if you have experience with SAP.
  6. A knack for clear communication and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
