CASUAL EVENTS BAR MANAGER – Murrayfield Stadium

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, product quality, and customer satisfaction. As a Bar Manager, you will oversee a team of bar staff, maintain stock levels, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. A Personal License is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day‑to‑day bar operations and ensure smooth service.
• Monitor and improve service quality to create a pleasant customer experience.
• Manage bar set up, service and closing procedures for events.
• Train, supervise and motivate bar staff to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for all shifts and events.
• Address performance issues and maintain a positive team environment.
• Ensure all drinks meet high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and proper drink handling and storage.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and special requests professionally.
• Foster an inviting atmosphere to promote customer retention.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and replenish beverages and supplies on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bar management or hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of alcohol licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Personal License Holder (mandatory).

Work Environment:

• Fast‑paced, customer‑facing setting requiring weekend, holiday and late‑hour availability.
• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting supplies and managing equipment.
