Purpose of the role:
You’ll be the first point of contact between our brands and Four Marketing. Fundamentally, you will be the key account manager and relationship holder with the brands we service from a distribution perspective. Leading with proactive meetings and keeping an open dialogue about the performance of the brand to ensure a positive relationship is maintained and all cascading elements of customer service are being met.
Expected to forecast sales potential, leading in the building and reporting of this to be used by the Senior Brand Manager / Brand Management Director. Ensures Brand Assistants are supporting through various administrative tasks.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure seasonal sales and annual targets are met. Negotiate OTBs with major accounts and indie stores.
- Forecast sales on short, medium, and long-term basis. Produce business plans and development strategy when necessary.
- Conduct customer visits to existing and prospective clients, regularly managing activities to drive sell-through, training, and stock analysis.
- Remain constantly aware of in-store performance and report these as necessary.
- Manage samples from arrival to return, including sample sales or off-price disposal.
- Oversee stock management, ensuring levels are within company tolerance and managed regularly, including stock disposal with off-price partners.
- Provide regular reporting to suppliers and ensure seasonal and market feedback is provided.
- Report sales results and market conditions via approved reporting format.
- Ensure all orders are processed as per system guidelines in a thorough and timely manner to avoid delivery delays, supported by assistant brand managers and sales support staff.
- Fully understand the creditworthiness of each potential new and existing client, maintaining a strong relationship with our credit control department to highlight those with poor credit.
- Ensure designated areas within the showroom are maintained to a pleasing aesthetic and in line with brand guidelines, supported by showroom staff.
What you’ll need:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally involving wholesale menswear.
- Track record of delivering successful sales campaigns.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent product judgment.
- Able to plan strategically within a sales environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive, proactive, and a great communicator.
