Job Description

Business Travel Consultant – Homeworking with Marine / Oil & Gas Experience

Business Travel Consultant required for a successful business travel company working on a dedicated Marine or Oil and Gas team based from home. We are seeking a very experienced business travel consultant with marine or oil and gas experience, strong GDS knowledge of Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus to join the team. They will pay up to £30k + excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Dealing with a range of Marine or Oil & Gas clients.
  2. Booking flights, car hire, rail, and hotels using a GDS.
  3. Arranging a wide range of travel, positioning crew sometimes for multiple groups or single travellers.
  4. Problem solving, making amendments, date changes, and re-issues.

Skills Required:

  1. Strong business travel consultant experience from a BT background, ideally within the marine or oil and gas sector.
  2. Strong airfares knowledge.
  3. Excellent relationship building skills.
  4. GDS experience from either Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.

Other Information:

  1. Working a small shift pattern between 08.30-18.00 Mon – Fri.
  2. Holidays starting with 23 days plus bank holidays.
  3. Excellent benefits including pension and private health insurance.
