As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring standby generators operate at peak performance, delivering essential maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled minor and major maintenance on static diesel generators.
- Conduct fault finding, servicing, load bank testing, and fluid sampling (including engine, day, and bulk tank samples).
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide detailed reports following site visits, including fault diagnosis and recommendations for parts replacement.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and site safety, addressing any spillages or hazards in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls, diagnosing and resolving faults to minimize downtime.
- Issue electronic Waste Consignment Notes following waste removal.
- Support clients with professional and proactive service, ensuring all requirements are met effectively.
- Participate in the on-call rota when required.
