Are you passionate about positively influencing the environmental performance of marine development projects? Join our team as a Senior Marine Consultant and you will have the opportunity to work on our range of marine projects in sectors such as offshore wind, subsea cables, ports and harbours, and coastal developments.

In this role you will support and input to our growing portfolio of high-profile marine projects. Here’s what you’ll do:

  1. Provide Expertise: Support the management of environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects.
  2. Ensure Quality: Ensure that our deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards.
  3. Project Management: Support the management of resources and budgets.
  4. Collaborate: Work as part of an integrated team to improve the environmental outcomes of our projects.
  5. Client Contact: Support senior staff with the management of client relationships.
  6. Growth: Promote AECOM’s environmental services to both internal and external audiences.

Qualifications
Here’s what we’re looking for:

  1. A degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters degree).
  2. Ideally a member of an appropriate professional membership.
  3. Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience.
  4. A suitable understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK.
  5. The ability to support collaborative teams.
  6. Project management skills.
  7. A commitment to innovation and professional development.
  8. Efficient verbal and report writing skills.
  9. A willingness to travel.
