Description:
Fire and Security Apprentice Engineer. Maintenance and installation services ltd have just celebrated their 3rd year since incorporation. This is an exciting and dynamic new business which is growing year on year.
Due to this continued growth, they are now looking to employ 1 apprentice. The successful individual will get the opportunity to work for a sustainable employer and become a multi-disciplined engineer.
You will be working towards installing and maintaining the following systems:
- Access Control
- Intruder Alarm
- CCTV
- Fire Alarms
Entry requirements:
- 18+
- Driving licence or be on track to obtain their licence within 6 months of the apprenticeship starting
- No criminal record
- Within 10-15 miles of L32
- Have a good attitude to work and learning
Training to be provided:
Initially, the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and developing in the fields of both fire and security. The qualification you would be studying towards is the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend the centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
