Our client is seeking a Business Operations Manager to establish and lead their business operations team within their Energy Infrastructure Services division. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and effective operational and administrative activities, supporting the growth and success of the new IDNO (Independent Distribution Network Operator) business. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead a high-performing Business Operations team for the IDNO.
* Oversee the adoption process from initial enquiry to energisation.
* Manage DUOS (Distribution Use of System) billing and MPAS obligations.
* Act as the primary contact for external IDNO enquiries and manage B2B and customer communications.
* Maintain and manage asset records, work programmes, and operational support activities.
* Support regulatory, compliance, safety, health, environmental, and quality obligations.
* Collaborate with leadership to align operational processes with business objectives and growth targets.
Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in business operations management, ideally within the energy sector.
* Strong leadership and team development skills, coupled with stakeholder management expertise.
* Knowledge of IDNO regulations, standards, and processes.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects, processes, and regulatory obligations.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £60k – £70k
