Our client, a leader in the bus and coach industry, known for engineering precision and innovation, is expanding its team. They are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join their dynamic Aftersales team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for a growing parc of buses and coaches, directly impacting their commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction throughout the UK and Ireland.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the processes of pre-delivery inspections, routine maintenance, preventative measures, and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and roadworthiness.
Control workload for the in-house Technicians and Mobile Field Engineers.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections requirements: for their Accounting, Customers, Truckfile and DVSA.
Maintain Quality control the preparation of vehicles to a high standard.
Control of work processes within guidelines of the manufacturers.
Maintain and control warranty work and claim submission within the guidelines set out by the manufacturers.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Your Background & Skill:
Proven experience working in an Aftersales team within the bus, coach, or heavy vehicle sector is a must. (PSV or HGV)
Excellent knowledge of workshop systems for loading, performance and productivity. (Advantage to have worked with Pinnacle but not essential)
Ability to work independently, managing time and resources effectively.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance and repair industry an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Full clean driving licence. (PSV) Licence preferrable but not essential.
