Job Description

Position Available : Technical Project Manager (Electronics)

Location : Hertfordshire (Hybrid)

Salary : £40,000 – £65,000 DoE + Bonus

Experience needed : A background and technical knowledge in the field of electronic systems, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in electronic products and units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in key project management principles, such as risk, budget management, earned value, and baseline management, along with excellent stakeholder management skills.

About the role

As an Electronics Project Manager, you\’ll play a crucial role in driving the design, development, and delivery of our world-class electronic equipment. From concept to full production, you will be responsible for ensuring we are on time, within budget and meeting the highest quality standards. You will be working in a vibrant project management community where collaboration is encouraged, and hard work is rewarded both financially and professionally. The role offers a clear progression path and the ability to learn and develop your skillset.

What we need from you:

  1. Solid technical knowledge of electronics systems/products
  2. A demonstrable background in project management of complex systems and units on time and within budget
  3. Knowledge of project management techniques such as risk management, cost management, tracking earned value and baseline management
  4. Experience in managing projects across all phases, from conception and initiation to manufacture, qualification, and customer delivery
  5. A technical/educational background in electronics would be ideal
