We have open-plan offices in Oxford, central London, and Manchester, with hybrid working. Our contractual working hours are 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times around our core company hours of 10 am to 4 pm. The HTA team is responsible for managing all the HTA submissions that Source Health Economics work on. We work with many of the big pharma companies and across a range of different conditions and disease areas. The HTA team is also responsible for writing bids and proposals for new work and identifying new business opportunities in health technology assessment and market access. The HTA team is currently growing quickly after a highly successful last three years. This role provides excellent opportunities for career progression for the right candidate. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be in a client-facing role and work closely and collaboratively with the value communication, health economics, systematic review, and statistics teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based solutions for our clients. Reporting to the Head of HTA (Peter O’Neill), the assistant project manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing large complex health technology assessment (HTA) projects
  • Preparing plans to execute and monitor project progress
  • Identifying and helping to manage potential project risks
  • Coordinating and monitoring project team activities
  • Creating client-ready presentations and materials with input from the project team
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients
  • Delivering projects to time and budget
  • Managing invoice schedules and administrative tasks related to projects
  • Contributing to business development, including helping to write proposals and attending client pitches
  • Contributing to company marketing and lead generation activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2.1 degree or higher in health / life sciences related subject
  • Highly organised
  • Able to manage time and prioritise deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Able to identify problems and offer solutions
  • Pro-active with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Knowledge of the health and / or life sciences sector(s)
  • Knowledge and understanding of health economics

This role can be either full or part time. We have offices in central London, Oxford, and Manchester. We operate hybrid working, two days a week in the office and three working from home. We are also open to remote contracts for this role. Come and join us at Source and see what you can achieve!
