Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Glasgow, G2 5AD / Hybrid
Salary: £37,000 to £46,000 dependent on experience

You’ll play a key role in driving our roadmap of improvements to help deliver the best possible experience to our customers. You’ll work on a specific project critical to ScottishPower’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects. You will act as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the software developers, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, understood, and successfully delivered.
We need our business analysts to be inquisitive, and passionate about building relationships and solving problems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, who are using cutting edge technology to solve real business problems.
What you’ll be doing
- Documenting existing business processes and workflows and translating business requirements into functional requirements for technical teams.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and testers to drive forward system and process improvements.
- Providing robust and innovative solutions to meet the fast-moving needs of the business.
- Managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have a degree in computer science or a similar technical field of study or have equivalent practical experience; and bring knowledge of requirement gathering and process mapping. You’ll bring excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex problems, be a positive thinker, creative and eager to learn and share knowledge across diverse teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field.
- Experience of the full software delivery lifecycle including the use of Agile methodology.
- AWS / SAP Experience.
