Project Manager – CONTRACT – London/Remote

Tier 1 Investment Bank

£500 – £580/day (Umbrella)

London/Remote – 3 days per week in the office

Contract until the end of the year

Are you a Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience in investment banking or consultancy? Do you thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments, managing high-impact projects that shape market risk and controls? If so, this role is for you.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join a leading investment banking team and drive delivery under the Global Market Disruption Programme. This initiative focuses on strengthening the control framework across all Markets businesses, mitigating risks of market disruption events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery of critical Business and Market Risk change initiatives.
  • Implement strategic solutions in partnership with Market Risk and Front Office teams.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory commitments.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across trading, risk, and infrastructure teams.
  • Develop and present updates to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.

You Will Need

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role within an investment bank or top-tier consultancy (essential).
  • Deep understanding of regulated change programs and fast-paced regulatory responses.
  • Experience managing projects impacting front-to-back controls and market structure/trade flow.
  • Strong knowledge of global markets trading products (Fixed Income, Equities, Currencies & Commodities).
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and chair senior forums.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, risk frameworks, and data quality rules.
