Are you an SC Cleared AWS Solutions Architect looking for an exciting new challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to design, architect, and deliver cutting-edge AWS solutions for a high-profile transformation program within the public sector.
This role is ideal for a hands-on cloud strategist and AWS expert who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments, working with containerization, automation, and enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
The Role:
- Enterprise AWS Cloud Architecture – Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud solutions, leveraging PaaS, SaaS, and container platforms (EKS, Kubernetes, Fargate).
- Security & Governance – Enforce AWS best practices, ensuring security compliance, IAM governance, and adherence to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation – Build and deploy IaC solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation, while automating workflows with Lambda, EventBridge, and AWS Systems Manager.
- CI/CD & DevOps – Lead modern deployment strategies using AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, GitHub, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Cloud Observability & Performance – Implement CloudWatch, X-Ray, and EventBridge for real-time monitoring, ensuring system reliability and optimization.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with developers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to ensure a smooth AWS adoption and transformation process.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Active SC Clearance
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional Certification
- Extensive AWS experience, including Well-Architected Framework, IAM, Security & Hybrid Cloud
The Package:
- Contract: 4-month initial term (extension likely)
- Rate: £600 per day (via Umbrella)
