Overview of the Role – Project Manager
Reporting to the MD and Board, the role of a Project Manager is to take a project from the sales team, manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the project and deliver the completed project to the customer at handover.
To oversee, monitor, and undertake project management activities, conducting analysis and reviews to provide input into plans, processes, and procedures, contributing to the improvement, completion, and delivery of projects.
Responsible for the achievement of construction targets and successful completion of projects on time, within budget and prescribed quality. Sustain and lead a highly motivated, productive, and capable construction team. Strive for the achievement of business KPIs.
Knowledge and Experience
- Technical competence to understand the design and construction process in relation to building or civil and ground working contracting, including relevant design standards, codes & legislation
- Project Management experience in the construction sector, building or civil.
- Professional project management qualifications
- Ability to develop, manage and maintain successful relationships, both internally and externally
- Ability to think ahead, so that the project always has sufficient material, plant and labour
- Strong influencing skills and persuasion skills
