A leading commodities trading firm is searching for a new Head of Quantitative Engineering to head up their Quant department, reporting directly to the CTO. You will manage three teams – Quant Development, Quant Engineering, and Derivatives Platform, each area with their own team lead. This position has predominantly a managerial focus; however, an in-depth technical knowledge of the quant engineering side will still be required to understand the constraints and opportunities within your team, offer technical support to your subordinates, and when required, engage on large-scale projects. The position entails a fair amount of stakeholder management, having to liaise frequently with senior stakeholders across IT, Risk, and Front Office. Requirements:

• Strong C++ engineering and development experience
• Strong background in the Front Office Quant Engineering Space
• Good management experience
• Knowledge of the energy commodities market
• Experience with pricing models, design, and development of pricing libraries
• Python in financial applications
• Experience with distributed architecture
