On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Partnership Tax Manager who is both motivated and knowledgeable. This London-based role offers the chance to manage tax matters related to a UK FCA-regulated partnership with approximately 50 individual members and two corporate members. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax for EMEA & Asia, you will be responsible for managing all matters related to the partnership’s and members’ tax compliance obligations.
What you'll do:
- Manage all matters related to the partnership’s and members’ tax compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with various teams within the organisation, providing superior client service through timely and accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of the annual partnership tax return, while also contributing to other business-related tax matters.
- Manage members’ current accounts, including monthly/quarterly review and sign off on balances for SOX purposes.
- Calculate net annual variable profit share, following annual true-up of reserves.
- Prepare individual members’ annual tax return packs.
- Collaborate with Human Capital Group to admit new members into the partnership.
- Provide input into the fortnightly rolling twelve-month cash flow forecast for all cash flows relating to individual members of the LLP.
- Support the Global Finance organization’s Finance Transformation Program through thought leadership and process renovation.
- Provide assistance to Head of Tax on current and future partnership projects.
What you bring:
- The ideal candidate is a qualified CTA/Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 5 years post-qualification relevant tax experience.
- Excellent general knowledge of all UK taxes, along with good knowledge of SMR; MMR; BPR and relevant case law.
- Working knowledge of RSU accounting and taxation will be beneficial in this role.
- A motivated professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Efficient and high-quality execution with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to timelines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAP.
