Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are excited to be supporting our Client with their requirement for a Qualified Financial Controller. We are looking for someone who has experience working within a technology-driven industry, who has experienced periods of rapid-growth and who can help deliver the planned growth through financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside the Senior Management Team to help realise the ambitious growth plans of the Company
• Provision of timely and accurate reporting and analysis
• Accountability for budgeting and forecasting
• Cash flow management
• Assessing the commercial potential of acquisitions and supporting with related activities
• Performance reporting and forecasting
• Management and development of a small finance team
• Statutory reporting, compliance with tax legislation and liaising with external accountants

Skills and Attributes required:

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified
• Excellent communication skills – confident liaising with Senior Management and Board Members
• A ‘hands-on’ approach to your work; close to the detail
• Experience of working within a private equity backed business (preferred)
