A fantastic opportunity for a driven, experience BDM to join a fast-growing and ambitious technology manufacturer. This role offers flexibility and reward for a sales professional to help develop new business across sectors such as Defence, Automation, Energy, Transportation and Communications.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Sales Prospecting and Customer Targeting Plans focused on creating engagement opportunities in strategic key accounts for target sectors for Captec capabilities and products.
- Pro-actively engage with ‘Suspect’ lists to create a pipeline of interested ‘Prospects’.
- Select key accounts with potential to grow and prepare and execute a Target Key Account Development Plans (ADPs) by defining key activities that need to be completed to increase the share of the customer’s business.
- Proactively manage and regularly report own new business opportunities and pipeline to ensure meeting (or exceeding) personal sales target.
- Adopt Captec key business objectives, core & brand values, culture and behaviours.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years’ experience selling to C level stakeholders providing technology solutions into operational technology environments.
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing high value opportunities, typically, £1-3 million in value within large SME and Enterprise customers.
- Capable of communicating customer/sector requirements to the business to support sales strategy development.
- Demonstratable experience selling into Defence, Healthcare, Automation, Transportation, Energy or Communications markets.
- Competent in utilizing and maintaining CRM software e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce.
- Self-motivated and able to multi-task, handling multiple priorities.
