A research & data intelligence startup is seeking an experienced quantitative research professional.

Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 per annum Location: Homeworking Job Type: Permanent

An international research and data intelligence startup that produces business and industry rankings in collaboration with some of the world’s top media brands.

THE ROLE
As Director of Research & Analytics, you will lead the research analytics team, drive the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and quantitative research methodologies. You’ll report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in guiding the company’s research strategy and decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Team management
  2. Conducting quantitative research, including survey design and programming
  3. Overseeing sample field management and ensuring the accuracy of data collection
  4. Developing and implementing predictive analytic models to drive business insights
  5. Utilising Python and other analytical tools for data analysis and model building
  6. Applying strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and generate insights

This role is offered on a fully remote basis (within the UK or Germany) with occasional travel overseas (1-2 trips per year).

YOU
We are looking for someone with the following profile:

  1. Significant experience in quantitative research, data analytics or a related area
  2. Experience with survey design, programming and sample field management
  3. Proficiency in Python
  4. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  6. Strong leadership and team management capabilities

You must be fluent in English and have the right to work in the UK. However, this company would also consider a candidate living and based in Germany.
