We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures and compliance with industry standards.

Assist with route planning to optimise delivery times while considering road conditions and regulations.
