HGV Class 2 Driver / HIAB

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Duties

• Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

• Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures and compliance with industry standards.

• Assist with route planning to optimise delivery times while considering road conditions and regulations.
