Overview:

My client, a leading financial services organisation based within the city, are currently looking for a Part-time Events Associate to join the team on a permanent basis to assist with the smooth running of events within their offices. The role will suit someone with an organised and proactive nature.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all events within the business
  • Plan all internal events, running a busy community calendar
  • Manage large scale networking events, supervise the invites, RSVP’s, catering, décor, budgets and speakers
  • Issue security and visitor passes to individuals who attend the offices
  • Responsible for arranging the internal Christmas party
  • Assist with booking meeting rooms for small-scale events
  • Manage of all events logistics

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an events-based role
  • Confident organising and hosting large-scale networking events
  • Professional and can-do attitude
  • Previous experience working for a corporate organisation a bonus
  • Excellent organisation and IT skills
