EHS Manager – Join Our Team at Ensus!
If you are an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager looking for your next challenge? We want to hear from you!
As our EHS Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining our safety culture, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and supporting operational excellence. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll be a core part of the Senior Management Team, leading on EHS strategy, regulatory engagement, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to the Operations Director on all EHS matters
Lead safety initiatives, chair the Ensus Safety Committee, and drive continuous improvement
Manage regulatory compliance, working closely with the HSE, Environment Agency, and other authorities
Oversee emergency preparedness, ensuring drills and training are regularly conducted
Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and EHS communications across the business
Collaborate with global EHS teams, sharing best practices
Manage waste and emissions reporting, ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in an EHS leadership role within Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Nuclear industries
Strong knowledge of process safety management and regulatory frameworks
NEBOSH Diploma or degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental Management
Professional membership (IOSH, IEMA) and an IEMA qualification (or equivalent)
A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with excellent leadership and communication skills
