Training & Quality Manager
POSITION PURPOSE
To provide a value-adding, proactive and supportive learning, development and training function for all associates, contributing to the successful delivery of the resorts Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to service standards, audits, associate satisfaction, guest satisfaction and profitability. To drive and promote a culture of continuous improvements by developing and delivering effective and innovative operational training initiatives aligned to Forbes Travel Guide and AA Hotel Quality Standards, which embrace the Trump Hotel brand standards and values, and support associates in achieving their personal and professional goals. Ensure the companys Equal Opportunity Policy is maintained in relation to learning and development opportunities for all associates.
This position is available on a full-time basis. Theshift pattern of the role will mirror operational shift patterns, 5 days out of 7, over Monday to Sunday weekly(including early, late and night shifts if required)to maximise training impact for all associates across all departments. There would be occasional travelto attend training courses when required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Training Development & Delivery
- Develop an effective annual Operational Training Plan which meets the needs of associatesand assists the resort in achieving its Key Performance Indicators
- Participate in the successful delivery of Trump Hotels training initiatives and programmes, including the resorts onboarding/induction programmes
- Support managers in creating effective development plans for associates, identifying key training requirements and cross-training opportunities
Quality Assurance:
- Through training delivery, reinforce service standards aligned to Forbes Travel Guide, Trump Hotel and the AA Hotel Quality Standards
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards
Employee Development and Coaching:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through employee development and quality initiatives
Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain accurate records of training programmes, employee progress, and performance assessments. Utilise the MAPAL platform for tracking training activities, when required
- Generate reports on training activities, quality assessments, and improvement metrics for management review
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Executive Committee, HODs, HR, operations, and support departments to ensure alignment between training initiatives and organisational KPIs
- Support to ensure all mandatory Fire, Life Safety, First Aid and other H&S/ Security training requirements are carried out in accordance with legislative requirements and company guidelines.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
- Must be eligible to live and work within the UK
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Hospitality Management or Human Resource Management preferred
- Relevant certifications in training, quality management, or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO certifications) would be of added benefit.
- Previous operational and training experience within a luxury hotel environment preferred
- Experience in successfully developing and delivering training programs (including operational/ craft training) to groups of various sizes preferred.
- Knowledge of the Forbes Travel Guide and AA Hotel Quality Standards is preferred.
