About the Role
A leading global crypto exchange is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join its security engineering team. This role is focused on designing and delivering security solutions and services to protect digital assets, infrastructure, and customer data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly within banking or financial institutions, and a deep understanding of modern security technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect the organisation\βs digital assets and services.
- Develop and enhance SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Google Chronicle within an enterprise environment.
- Automate security processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions to enhance DevSecOps capabilities.
- Strengthen security for APIs, Kubernetes, and containerized environments, ensuring robust workload protection.
- Deploy and manage security tools including IDS/IPS, WAF, Web Proxy, EDR, PAM, DLP, and anti-malware solutions.
- Monitor and assess emerging threats, providing proactive solutions to enhance security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across development and operational workflows.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in technical IT security roles, ideally within banking, financial institutions, or digital asset firms.
- BS/BA degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Expert-level experience in architecting and managing SIEM solutions (Splunk, Google Chronicle).
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of API security, Kubernetes, and container security.
