Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

I’m working with a well-established, multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy to support the growth of their air quality team. Due to continued project wins across infrastructure, development and sustainability-led schemes, they are now looking to appoint an Air Quality Consultant to join their UK team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work on technically diverse projects within a supportive, professional environment, with clear progression routes and exposure to high-profile, nationally significant work.

Key Responsibilities

As an Air Quality Consultant, you will play an essential role in supporting the air quality team with a range of exciting projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting air quality assessments and air dispersion modelling for industrial, commercial, and residential developments
Assisting with air quality monitoring and data analysis
Preparing technical reports and environmental statements
Supporting the Junior consultants with mentoring
Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practicesWhat We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an individual with a keen interest in environmental sciences and a desire to make a tangible impact on air quality. The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience working as an Air Quality Consultant or as a Senior already
A relevant degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and ideally some proficiency with air quality modelling tools (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD)
