Kettle Produce Limited, a market leader in fresh and prepared vegetables, is seeking a dynamic Finance Director to join our leadership team and Board. This is a pivotal role, responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability, and supporting business growth.
The Role
As Finance Director, you will lead the finance and accounting functions, ensuring financial health and compliance. You will work closely with the Board and senior leadership team, offering strategic insight to drive business success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic financial direction and overseeing financial governance.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies.
- Managing external relationships with banks, insurers, and auditors.
- Supporting non-finance stakeholders with financial insight to drive informed decision-making.
- Overseeing risk management, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Managing direct reports, including the Head of Finance and Head of IS.
- Ensuring seamless integration of financial systems (Tropos ERP & Coda Financials).
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a commercially astute finance leader with strong strategic and operational expertise.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally within food manufacturing, FMCG, or agriculture.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in managing external financial relationships.
- A proactive and resilient mindset, capable of embedding change within an established team.
