Job Description
Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Raw Materials Quality Analyst for one of our clients in the food manufacturing industry. As a Raw Materials Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming raw materials meet the company’s quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Your role will be integral in maintaining the consistency and safety of our products while supporting the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test incoming raw materials for quality, compliance, and safety standards.
- Verify supplier documentation, including certificates of analysis and safety data sheets.
- Conduct laboratory analyses, including physical, chemical, and sensory tests on raw materials.
- Monitor and document results, ensuring they align with company specifications and regulatory standards.
- Report non-conformance issues and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure seamless material flow.
- Assist in audits of raw material suppliers and support supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to raw material quality analysis.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, such as HACCP.
