Transaction Tax Manager – M&A
Location: London, Manchester and Edinburgh
My client is a leading transaction tax team in the UK. They are currently seeking a motivated Tax specialist with M&A experience to join their fast-growing team. The team has experienced tremendous growth in the last couple of years and is in an expansion phase.
This role offers fast progression and the opportunity to take ownership of your work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead tax due diligence and tax structuring projects (post-deal and pre-deal), collaborating with specialists and transaction support teams.
- Deliver bespoke tax advice in a fast-paced and ever-changing deals market.
- Work with the wider firm network and seek specialist input for international transactions.
- Develop your network of contacts and cross-sell services.
- Foster key transaction relationships, including private equity firms.
Requirements:
- Any of the following preferred: ACA/ ICAS/ CAI/ ATT / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA, e.g. law qualification).
- In-depth knowledge of UK taxation and the ability to handle complex tax issues related to transactions.
- Ability to use tax technical knowledge & insights in a fast-paced commercial environment.
