Bela Recruitment is recruiting a Dairy Equipment Technician (Field Service Engineer) to cover NI, the companies head office is located just outside Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the in-house Design & Fabrication teams, to ensure new products are installed as per technical specifications.
  • Conduct installation and service work on Diary Milking Parlour equipment and other systems.
  • Fault find, repair and identify improvements required on equipment, by informing designers.
  • Advise clients on equipment capabilities and correct usage or daily maintenance duties.

Requirements

  • Ideally previous experience fitting mechanical equipment, ideally in the daily / milking sector, however, you could also come from Agir Mechanical / Mechanic background, Factory Maintenance Engineer, Dairy Industry or any mechanical or electrical field service engineer role.
  • Willing and able to work on dairy farms across the province daily.
  • Strong background in troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems, including electrical circuits & controls would be advantageous.
  • Full driving license and willing to travel to sites daily.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, ability think on your feet.

Rewards

£30,000 – £40,000 depending on industry experience.

Lots of overtime available, potential to earn another £5000 min.
