We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join Snap Inc! As a member of the team, you will work in a fun, fast-paced, and fluid environment. You will need to bring a creative mindset, detail-oriented focus, and strategic acumen in your approach to building and growing long term business partnerships across brands and their partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and senior analysts, including setting clear goals, managing project loads, and ensuring their professional growth.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data analyses produced by the team, implementing quality control measures and best practices in data analysis.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in analytical methodologies and tools.
  • Work with account managers and account executives to advise key advertisers on how to maximize their return on investment on Snap.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to grow the analytical maturity of the whole organization.
  • Regularly lead broader analyst task forces to help tackle larger questions/opportunities that impact multiple verticals.
  • Foster a culture that values and upholds Snap’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert in SQL, advanced knowledge of statistical methodologies.
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adaptable to changes.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems by analyzing large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify key opportunities and transform them into action.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of advertising performance metrics and ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics or Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
  • Significant experience as a Manager of Analysts in a similar environment.
  • Significant experience as a data analyst using SQL and python regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Msc in Analytics, Statistics, Economics or Business.
  • Significant experience managing a data team.
  • Significant experience as a data scientist.
  • A passion for understanding complex data patterns and brainstorming with the team to find solutions.
