Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £38k
Overview:
My client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking to recruit a talented Structural Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative and sustainable projects while advancing your technical skills and career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Development: Contribute to the technical analysis and production of project information at each stage of the project lifecycle. Ensure that all aspects of the design are covered, and information is delivered to the team on time. Maintain high levels of Continued Professional Development (CPD) and engage in promoting the company’s work through technical papers and external engagements.
- Project Delivery & Management: Work closely with senior engineers on project delivery, assisting with technical aspects, client communications, and relationship management. Gain insight into the financial and programme management aspects of projects as you progress.
- Commercial Focus: Over time, take on responsibility for managing the performance, delivery, and financial aspects of selected projects, under the guidance of senior project leaders.
- Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with design teams and clients. Expand your network within the client base and explore opportunities for winning new work.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably within the design and project delivery stages.
- Strong technical skills, with knowledge of structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ABAQUS, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering quality results.
- Commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD) and career progression.
