Job Details
- We are looking for a Marketing Data and Decisioning Manager who will take ownership of customer data for marketing purposes, ensuring data from different sources is available to run campaigns with an active role in measuring campaign success.
- Reporting directly into the Head of Marketing, you will oversee the set-up & ongoing operational management of our marketing platforms (mParticle & Braze) including, data plans, data cataloguing, end-to-end data flows, audience creation & integrations.
- This role is very collaborative; you will work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to develop a marketing data strategy and develop a quarterly roadmap aligned to our business strategy which delivers good customer and commercial outcomes.
- You will be given the opportunity to undertake hypothesis-led analysis to unlock new opportunities which create business value and campaign optimisations.
- Additionally, you will create predictive audiences which segment & deliver relevant & personalised customer communications & elevate customer engagement.
- Finally, you will lead the measurement of our marketing activity to understand commercial uplift, chairing regular working groups to share insights, discuss new initiatives and agree improvements which will increase overall engagement and performance.

Skills we would love you to have
- Experience developing a data strategy with a proven record of creating business value.
- Experience working within a CRM & data environment within a complex organisation, preferably within insurance / financial markets.
- Experience of the technical set-up & operational running of marketing data platforms within an overall technology stack.
- Strong understanding of database design, data modelling, data integration, data quality, & data governance principles.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts & data strategies to non-technical stakeholders & deliver buy-in.
- Proficient in SQL & familiarity with Python & / or JavaScript.
- Solid experience of data visualisation tools, ideally Power BI.
- Sophisticated, innovative, and pragmatic problem solver with high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
