Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Remedial Plumber.
Location: St Albans, Herefordshire.
Salary / Benefits: 24k – 38k + Training + Benefits

A professional and industry leading provider of Legionella Management services in the South East is seeking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor / Remedial Plumber. This role would suit someone with experience carrying out both Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems and Remedial Plumbing across Leisure, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, and Health & Social Care sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and diligent candidate to join a busy and rapidly growing company that prioritizes expanding their employees’ training and knowledge. Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Experience working for an established Legionella Management company, hands-on as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Remedial Plumber.
  2. City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella risk assessment alongside City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Able to produce detailed reports based on site findings and create/amend schematic drawings.
  5. Excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  6. Able to organize workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role:

  1. Working on both hot and cold-water systems to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with client requirements.
  2. Gathering information from site to produce detailed legionella reports.
  3. Creating legionella management plans to prevent the risk of legionnaires disease, ensuring clients are aware of necessary measures.
  4. Creating site-specific schematic drawings.
  5. Amending schematic drawings when required.
  6. Undertaking deadleg removals.
  7. Removing, replacing, and resourcing both copper and PVC pipework.
  8. CWST refurbishments and installs.
  9. Carrying out inspections of plumbing work and signing off when completed.
  10. Undertaking fault-finding on site, ensuring timely rectification.
  11. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
