Job Description

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where accuracy and financial control are key? We are seeking a Management Accountant to play a crucial role in managing and reporting all financial transactions, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation where you will take ownership of financial reporting, payroll processing, and financial controls. You will work closely with different departments, providing vital financial insight to support decision-making and business growth. This role will initially be offered on a 3 month fixed term contract basis but there is potential for longevity beyond.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and revenue reporting
  • Monthly accruals, prepayments, and VAT/Fuel duty returns
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts and company credit card transactions
  • Preparing payroll, including processing starters, leavers, and overtime
  • Preparing statutory audit files and liaising with external auditors

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

  • Ideally Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience
  • Experience in using SAGE
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
