The Opportunity

We\’re looking for a Senior Health & Safety Business Partner to drive excellence across our nationwide Ready-Mix plants. Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Director , this is a fantastic opportunity to lead and influence best practices across a critical part of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement strategic health and safety plans to align with organisational goals.
2. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, promoting best practices throughout all levels of the organisation.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and drive preventative measures.
4. Provide expert advice and engage with senior management to influence decision making towards safety excellence.
5. Lead incident investigations to uncover root causes and recommend corrective actions.
6. Facilitate training and mentoring for employees to enhance safety awareness and competency.
7. Collaborate with operational teams to analyse incident trends and implement strategic initiatives to prevent recurrence.

Who you are

1. You’ll be NEBOSH qualified, with direct experience to back up your educational background.
2. You’ve experience working within a manufacturing environment.
3. You have experience working across multiple sites, partnering with diverse teams, and driving engagement.
4. You can analyse data and trends, using insights to improve safety performance.
5. You’re a strong communicator, comfortable delivering training, coaching, and influencing stakeholders.
6. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about making a real impact on workplace safety.
