The Opportunity

We\’re looking for a Senior Health & Safety Business Partner to drive excellence across our nationwide Ready-Mix plants. Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Director , this is a fantastic opportunity to lead and influence best practices across a critical part of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic health and safety plans to align with organisational goals.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, promoting best practices throughout all levels of the organisation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and drive preventative measures.
- Provide expert advice and engage with senior management to influence decision making towards safety excellence.
- Lead incident investigations to uncover root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Facilitate training and mentoring for employees to enhance safety awareness and competency.
- Collaborate with operational teams to analyse incident trends and implement strategic initiatives to prevent recurrence.
Who you are
- You’ll be NEBOSH qualified, with direct experience to back up your educational background.
- You’ve experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- You have experience working across multiple sites, partnering with diverse teams, and driving engagement.
- You can analyse data and trends, using insights to improve safety performance.
- You’re a strong communicator, comfortable delivering training, coaching, and influencing stakeholders.
- You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about making a real impact on workplace safety.
