POSITION DETAILS:

Position Title: Lead Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer

Reports to: Director of Business Systems & Development

Team: Development

Department: Systems Development

PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Dynamics and Power Platform Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to meet our organisation’s business needs.

You must have demonstrable expertise in deploying, configuring, administering, and managing Microsoft Dynamics. You also need a good understanding of Power Platform solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, work with team members to review code, share knowledge, and mentor junior members of the team to create technical designs, and deliver high-quality solutions.

CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

  • Power Apps: Extensive experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including MS PowerApps, Flow and SharePoint. Clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods. Experience with Installation and configuration of data gateways.
  • M365: Strong foundational knowledge of the Office 365 platform, including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem. Ability to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365 technologies, including a focus on keeping up to date with developing solutions and future roadmap of Microsoft.
  • D365: Development experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Portal. Proficient in developing, deploying, customizing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365. Excellent experience in using CRM SDK. Familiarity with reporting and analytics capabilities within Dynamics to monitor and track case management performance and key metrics. Knowledge of access control mechanisms within Dynamics entities.
  • Case Management and Workflows: Extensive experience in designing and developing case management solutions using the Dynamics platform. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with case management concepts, processes, and best practices within the context of Dynamics solutions. Proficiency in configuring, customizing and optimizing case management modules, workflows, queues, service level agreements (SLAs), case escalation and resolution processes.
  • Integration: Experience in designing and implementing integrations between Dynamics and other ERP systems. Experience in integrating case management functionality with other systems or platforms, such as knowledge bases, self-service portals, or communication channels (e.g., email, chat, or phone).
  • Cross-functional: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to case management functionality in Dynamics. Experience in training and supporting end-users on D365 features, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of the implemented solutions. Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements that may impact CRM processes, such as data privacy or industry-specific regulations. Understanding security concepts including access control and data security. Ability to stay up to date with the latest advancements within the Microsoft Power Platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work individually and alongside analysts and stakeholders to design and deliver D365 and Power Apps solutions.
  • Provide technical services for data quality monitoring and improvement including cleansing, deduplication, and data enrichment.
  • Analyse and understand business requirements and operational processes to ensure solutions meet the defined objectives.
  • Provide 3rd line technical support expertise for the CRM and Power Apps platform.
  • Help measure and improve user adoption for new business line systems.

Internal: Work alongside Bytes Development, Business Analysis and IT Support and consult with all teams at Bytes.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Dynamics development are a plus.

Years of Experience: 5 years commercial experience maintaining and developing Dynamics and Power Platforms Deployments.
