Experienced Business Analyst is required by a leading international professional services organisation to play a key role in a digital transformation programme migrating from Microsoft Dynamics AX to a new best of breed / Enterprise Integration Platform and to assist with the implementation of new ERP solutions including Workday, Elite 3E, and Intapp.
As an experienced Business Analyst you will be responsible for capturing, analysing & documenting business requirements in support of a programme migrating from Microsoft Dynamics AX. As part of this strategic initiative, your work will revolutionise several vital business support function processes and systems, transitioning toward a cutting-edge process and technology landscape covering Acceptance (Intapp Conflicts & Intake), Financial & Practice Management (Elite), and Human Capital Management (Workday).
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and prioritise requirements based on their business value and program objectives. Your focus will be to harmonise processes, achieving end-to-end integration of processes and systems.
In this Business Analyst role, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Collaborate with project teams, IT leadership, and stakeholders to comprehend the detailed outcomes of project/change activities, maintaining the associated requirements log.
- Assist in developing options for technical solutions that align with program and project business cases.
- Provide solution and process recommendations based on fit, technical feasibility, and cost analysis.
- Ensure adherence to Strategy and Architecture guidance, especially in choosing between 'off-the-shelf'/standardized and 'internally developed'/bespoke solutions.
- Work with key stakeholders to determine requirement priorities.
- Support Business Change Management to enhance user adoption and engagement throughout the change process.
- Lead or support the maintenance of the project risk log.
About you. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can demonstrate the following capabilities and experiences:
- Proven success in applying business or logical analysis to address complex problems and identify viable solutions.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships across all organisational levels.
- Ability to collaborate with user groups to translate loosely defined requirements into actionable insights defining project success.
- Able to convey detailed information to a non-expert audience to drive action and achieve results.
- Experience as a point of reference for a delivery team, skilled in working and negotiating with technical experts to fulfil the project's mandate.
- Strong time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the drive to exceed expectations.
- Familiarity with various tools and techniques for problem-solving, formulating solutions, and tracking/prioritising risks and issues.
- Understanding of enterprise IT applications, telecoms infrastructure, with specific reference to Microsoft and document production products.
On top of this, it would be desirable if you also had:
- Experience within the legal or professional services sectors.
- A familiarity with project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Prince 2) and IT best practice frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- An understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning tools (ideally Workday, Intapp, and Elite 3E).
