We are seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Business Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, office-based environment, supporting the Contextual Safeguarding Risk Outside the Home Team.
The Role
To provide a comprehensive, professional, proactive, customer-focused business support service to the Contextual Safeguarding/ Risk outside the home service, enabling the service to meet their statutory and legal obligations and our Borough Plan.
About You
You must have experience of producing clear, concise and accurate minutes with strong writing skills.
You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Work independently, taking ownership and accountability for your work, tasks and actions.
- Show motivation to deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Ensure all returns are completed accurately, meeting statutory deadlines and quality standards.
- Utilise a wide range of software programs effectively.
- Foster and maintain collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage a demanding and reactive workload in a responsive way to assist the Team Leader to meet key objectives and external regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the professional delivery of established business processes such as database management to support the organisation.
- Embrace new technology to support service users, to ensure that the level of support offered is flexible and in line with Lambeth’s ways of working.
- Use innovative and imaginative thinking to improve service delivery.
