Fire & Security Engineer

Location: Midlands (Field-Based)
Salary: 42,000 – 46,000 Basic (Dependent on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable security solutions provider, seeking a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of systems including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and the potential to expand into Fire Alarm systems.

Role Overview:

As a Fire & Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, installing, and commissioning security systems across commercial and industrial sites in the Midlands

  • Working with a variety of systems including Intruder Alarms (particularly Galaxy), CCTV, and Access Control

  • Participating in a 1-in-5 out-of-hours standby rota

  • Ensuring all installations and maintenance meet current compliance standards and customer requirements

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience with Galaxy Intruder Alarm systems

  • Strong working knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems

  • Full, clean UK driving licence

  • Valid CSCS or ECS certification

  • Eligibility to pass a DBS check

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working on Water Utility sites

  • PASMA and IPAF certified

  • EUSR Water Hygiene card holder
