Project Engineering Lead (Systems Engineering)

Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Systems Project Engineering Lead (PEL) to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and System Design Authority to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver engineering activities within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
3. Managing engineering development projects from requirements elicitation to production.
4. Producing engineering plans that include dependencies, assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
5. Understanding and managing configuration and change management.
6. Providing engineering estimation and work package management.
7. Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
8. Ensuring adherence to design gates from bid to full production readiness review.

Job Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in Change & Transformation, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering.
2. Solid background in Systems Engineering with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary integration.
3. Experience in managing teams on complex engineering projects.
4. Familiarity with engineering estimation and producing detailed engineering plans.
5. Experience on defence projects.
6. Understanding of configuration and change management principles.
7. Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
8. Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance.
