About the Visitor Experience role:
Working within a group of Team Leaders you will lead your own team to provide excellent customer service and visitor experience.
You will lead by example by encouraging others to have a strong customer focus in all that they do, while at the same time ensuring the safety and security of visitors and our collection front of house.
As a Visitor Experience Team Leader at National Museums Scotland you will:
* Ensure that high standards of visitor engagement are delivered, and that staffing resources are maximised
* Work collaboratively with other departments in ensuring a consistent and seamless service is provided to our visitors
* Respond to complaints, taking ownership and prompt but appropriate action to resolve any issues
* Be able to work weekends, public holidays and late nights for events on a regular basis.
Skills and experience we’re looking for in our Visitor Experience Team Leader:
* Able to find creative and innovative solutions to challenges in a fast paced environment.
* Experience managing a Team of direct reports and providing appropriate level of support.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and delegate.
* Good presentation skills, able to talk confidently and with authority to visitors and other key stakeholders
