Information Security Officer – London
Establish and maintain IT and information security governance across the organisation and its affiliated entities across EMEA whilst ensuring a sustainable framework that aligns with regulatory requirements, business objectives, and organisational culture.

Description
The Information Security function will ensure adherence to data protection and security policies, safeguarding company and customer information. Participation in training and awareness sessions will be required to stay updated on policy changes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a plan with KPIs in collaboration with IT and IS representatives across European group companies, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements, business obligations, resource availability, and corporate policies.
- Providing regular updates on progress to senior management and relevant stakeholders, using appropriate formats such as PowerPoint.
- Coordinating and implementing the plan with representatives, monitoring outcomes, and reporting results accordingly.
- Reviewing outcomes with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and incorporating feedback into the plan.
- Supporting and validating technical implementation plans, ensuring compliance with corporate security requirements, including assessments and audits, while considering regulatory and business needs.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure alignment across the group.
- Drafting and updating policies and manuals to reflect regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Staying informed about technological advancements in IT, operations, and security to provide effective support without disrupting workflows.
Profile
The candidate will need to have demonstrable experience with the following:
- Minimum three years of experience in the ICT industry.
- Hands-on experience in implementing or operating security frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, or other Cyber Security Frameworks.
- Experience in assessing GDPR requirements when implementing new IT and IS systems.
- Proven expertise in designing and evaluating IT security implementations.
- Strong knowledge of NIS2 regulations.
- Fluent communication skills in English + German or French, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels would be advantageous.
