WorkwithYorkshire are working with a local client, who have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in York City Centre . This is a fulltime permanent role based in the office, working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Competitive salary on offer dependent on experience.
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance in the running of the Accounts Department
- Issue of cheques
- Posting of ‘chits’ relating to client account transactions
- Daily banking
- Verification of Completion Statements
- Checking of bills
- Taking card payments for clients in person and over the telephone
Key skills and experience;
- Previous experience working in an Accounts role
- Experience of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
- Ability to work under pressure
