Field Service Engineer Midlands up to £40k

Are you a Field Service Engineer with good experience working on rotating equipment, particularly Pumps?

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to be based out of Birmingham or Coventry sites and will travel around the Midlands area. The Maintenance Engineer will focus on servicing, maintaining, and repairing critical water infrastructure across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Liaising with customers and representatives as well as with sub-contractors.
  2. You will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs of water infrastructure, particularly pumps.
  3. Primarily support one or two utility providers, with occasional travel for other frameworks on an as-needed basis.
  4. Ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

They are looking for someone with the following:

  1. Experience of pumps would be a distinct advantage but experience of motors/compressors/turbomachinery or similar rotating machinery will be considered.
  2. Experience of installation and commissioning activity.
  3. Good Mechanical or Electrical Skills relevant to rotating machinery.
  4. You’ll be a strong communicator who has good relationship management skills.
  5. Able to act independently and good attention to detail.

Benefits:
They offer a salary between £30,000-£40,000 plus a company van and fuel as well as a company annual bonus. There is opportunity for overtime paid at 1.5 or x 2, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), contributory pension, and other great benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
